Local Task Force on the Right to Education 

Each Local Task Force is composed of the appropriate intermediate unit executive director or designee, a representative of the LEA, the appropriate county MH/ID designee, a representative from a local chapter of The Arc, a consumer representative (school-aged person and/or parent/guardian of a school-aged person with a disability), and any other private citizen or agency necessary to accomplish the purpose of the group. In addition, the 29 local task forces work with their LEAs to identify systemic or potentially systemic issues occurring within the LEAs.
